The Dignity of Work Legacy Monument is a commissioned art installation soon to be dedicated on the grounds of the History Museum of Burke County. As a permanent memorial, It will serve as a testimony for us and future generations of citizens as we reflect and pay honor to the Mill and Factory Workers of Burke County.
Honoring a family member, friend or neighbor with a personalized brick on the walkway around the Workers' Legacy Monument, is a wonderful tribute.
For a donation of $100 or more, we will install an engraved brick leading up to the monument. All proceeds from The Walk of Honor Brick Fundraiser, will help support the upkeep of the monument and the surrounding grounds.
The standard 4″x8″ brick may contain up to three lines of text with 14 characters in a line (spaces and punctuation count). Lettering is UPPERCASE and centered on the brick.
